Yes Auto Parts and its affiliates (collectively, the "Company," "we," or "us") want you to be familiar with how we collect, use, and disclose personal information in association with the operation of our business. It also includes your online identifiers, such as your online account login ID, social media account ID, IP address, or cookie ID. Commercial information, such as vehicle information (e.g., type, year, make, model, license plate number, or VIN), or products or services you purchased, reviewed, or considered purchasing.

 

Internet activity information, such as your browsing history, search history, or other information when you interact with our websites, applications, and advertisements.

 

Geolocation data, including precise geolocation data, when you choose to share your precise location (e.g., through mobile app settings). It may also include coarse location data (e.g., city or region-level location) that we infer from your IP address.

 

Audio, electronic, video, or image data, such as recordings captured during your visits to our stores or parking lots, or when you communicate with us by phone or through virtual channels.

 

Demographic, education, professional or employment information, such as information you provide in any surveys.

 

Inferences or preferences we learn or infer about you.

 

Sensitive personal information, such as social security numbers, driver's license information, health information, and information related to racial or ethnic origin. Please do not share sensitive personal information with us unless we specifically request it.

To the extent we process deidentified information, we will maintain and use the information in deidentified form and will not attempt to reidentify the information unless permitted by applicable law.

 

METHODS OF COLLECTION

We collect personal information from various sources, including collecting information directly from you, through automated means, from vendors and other external sources, as well as by generating information about you.

 

Information You Provide

You may provide any of the categories of personal information described above when you interact with us. This includes your contact information, payment information, vehicle information, preferences, and demographic data.

 

We collect this information through various interactions, including when you sign up for a newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form, register a product warranty, join a loyalty program, create an account on our digital platforms, visit our stores, attend events, enter contests or sweepstakes, place an order, submit a review, contact customer service (including through our chat function), or make a purchase.

When you visit our digital properties (e.g., websites, mobile apps, HTML-formatted email messages, etc.), we collect information using technologies such as cookies, pixels, tags, and other online tracking tools. To support asset protection and enhance our operations, our stores may use cameras, sensors, and other technologies in areas such as our stores and parking lots. These tools help us monitor traffic patterns, improve store layouts, and safeguard our business. With your consent, we may also collect your precise geolocation to enhance your shopping experience, for example, by helping you find the nearest store or offering location-based services.

Affiliates and Subsidiaries. We may receive information from our subsidiaries and affiliated companies to ensure consistency across our services and to support internal operations.

Supporting business operations, such as auditing, debugging, fraud prevention, verifying or maintaining the quality or safety of our products and services, and ensuring security protections.

Legal, Compliance, Law Enforcement, and Security Requirements

We use identifiers, commercial information, internet activities information, geolocation data, audio, electronic, video, or image data, and their personal information for legal, compliance, and physical and cyber security protection purposes, including:

We disclose personal information to our subsidiaries and affiliates to deliver requested products or services, communicate about accounts and relevant updates, improve and maintain the quality of offerings, and fulfill legal, regulatory, and security obligations.

We disclose personal information to product and service providers for business operations. These may include, but are not limited to, providers of website hosting, data analytics, payment processing, order fulfillment, returns management, fraud prevention, IT and infrastructure services, customer support, promotional benefits, email delivery, auditing, and other related services.

We disclose personal information to certain unaffiliated third parties who may also use personal information for their own specific purposes.

 

We share personal information with a range of advertising partners, as well as technology and data providers that support ad delivery, personalization, and performance measurement. This includes publishers operating the websites you visit (e.g., online news outlets or blog sites), social media platforms, ad tech providers, advertising agencies, data enrichment vendors, and measurement and analytics companies. Together, they use various online advertising technologies (e.g., cookies, pixels, tags, SDKs, etc.) to deliver relevant ads, track engagement, measure effectiveness, and improve advertising strategies across platforms.

 

We also disclose personal information to joint marketing partners and third-party sponsors of sweepstakes, contests, and similar promotions.

 

Legal, Enforcement, and Security

We may disclose information about you when required by law, regulation, or legal process, such as a court order or subpoena. We may also share information in response to requests from government agencies, including law enforcement or tax authorities, when we believe it is appropriate or necessary. Additionally, we may disclose information to protect the rights, property, or safety of our company, our customers, or others—such as to prevent harm, injury, loss, or to recover debts owed. Disclosures may also occur in cases of reasonably suspected or actual fraud or as part of investigations into unlawful activity.

 

Business Transfers

YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES

Marketing Emails

If you no longer want to receive marketing-related emails from us on a going-forward basis, you may opt out by using the unsubscribe link contained in the footer of the email. Please note that if you opt out of receiving marketing-related emails from us, we may still send you important administrative messages, from which you cannot opt out. You can also modify your email preference if you have an online account with us.

 

SMS

If you no longer want to receive automated text messages, you may opt out by responding STOP to such text messages.

 

Mobile Apps

You can uninstall our mobile app or manage your push notification preferences by using the standard settings or uninstallation process available on your mobile device.

 

Cookies and Other Technologies

Cookies are small data files stored on your browser that help us collect information such as browser type, IP address, time spent on our services, pages visited, and language preferences. We, as well as our service providers and third-party vendors, use the data collected by these technologies to enhance security, improve navigation, personalize your experience, and facilitate Interest-Based Advertising (see section below). In addition to cookies, we may use other online technologies, such as web beacons, pixels, tags, embedded scripts, and SDKs (in mobile apps) for the purposes above.

 

We may also use third-party web analytics services in our online services to help us analyze how users use our online services. Interest-Based Advertising

We collect information about your interactions with our websites and apps to deliver Interest-based advertising (also known as online behavioral advertising), which is the practice of showing ads to users based on their browsing behavior, such as the websites they visit, the apps they use, and their interactions over time. This data is used to predict interests and deliver more relevant, personalized ads across websites, apps, and devices.

"Do Not Track" Signals

We do not respond to Do Not Track browser signals because there is no universally accepted industry standard for their implementation.

 

STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS

Residents of certain U.S. states have specific rights regarding their personal information. Depending on your state of residence and subject to legal limitations and exceptions, you may be entitled to exercise one or more privacy rights. Below is a summary of your privacy rights based on your state of residency, and we will then elaborate on what each right entails:

 

California Residents: Right to access, correct or delete personal information, right to opt out of "sale" and "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising, limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information, and no discrimination.

 

Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland (effective 10/1/25), Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas Residents, and Virginia: Right to access, correct or delete your personal information, right to opt out of sale of personal information and targeted advertising, right to opt out of profiling, no discrimination, right to appeal.

Access: You may request confirmation of whether we process your personal information and obtain a copy of the personal information we maintain about you.

 

Correction: You can ask us to correct any inaccurate personal information we have about you. For changes related to your order or services, please contact a store team member or customer care.

 

Deletion: You can request us to delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions permitted by law (e.g., complete a transaction, detect security incidents, debug, etc.). This may impact our capability to provide products or services to you. Please note that we will retain some personal information and a record of your request where required or otherwise permitted by law.

 

Opt-Out Rights: You can opt out of the sale, sharing, or processing of personal information for targeted advertising as defined under the U.S. State Privacy Laws.

 

Sensitive Personal Information: You may request to restrict the use and sharing of your sensitive personal information to purposes allowed by law—such as providing services, ensuring safety, preventing fraud, and maintaining service quality.

 

Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

 

Appeals: If we decline to act on your request, you may appeal the decision within a reasonable timeframe after receiving our response.

 

We do not engage in profiling individuals in ways that produce legal or similarly significant effects as defined under the state privacy laws.

Here are some additional details about your state rights: As allowed by the relevant state consumer data privacy laws, the parent or guardian of a child (as defined by the state's privacy law), conservator, and/or authorized agent may be allowed to exercise some or all of a consumer's rights under the law. As specified by the law, we will require proof of such persons' authority to exercise a consumer's rights under the relevant law.

Other State Privacy Laws

Nevada Residents. Pursuant to Chapter 603A of the Nevada Revised Statutes, Nevada residents have the right to opt out of the sale of certain "covered information" collected by website operators. Although we do not currently sell covered information as defined under Nevada law, if you are a Nevada resident, you may submit a verified request to opt out of future sales by emailing support@yesautoparts.com. California's "Shine the Light" Law. If you are a California resident with whom we have an established business relationship, you may request information—subject to certain limitations under California Civil Code § 1798.83—regarding our disclosures of your personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. California's "Digital Online Erasure" Law. If you are a resident of California, under age 18, and a registered user of the Services, you may ask us to remove content or information that you have posted on the Website, Apps, or Social Media Pages by writing to our privacy office at the address listed above.

 

MINOR'S INFORMATION

The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect or disclose personal information about or from children under the age of 16 without parental or guardian consent. If a child under the age of 16 has provided us with personal information, we ask that a parent or guardian contact us so that the information can be deleted. We do not knowingly sell the data of individuals under 18.

 

NOTICE OF FINANCIAL INCENTIVES / REWARDS PROGRAM

Yes Auto is Yes Auto Parts's rewards program (the "Program") for Do-It-Yourself customers in which members earn points for purchases made online or in our stores. These points can be redeemed for discounts or gas rewards as further described on the Yes Auto rewards page.

 

Information Collection and Sharing. To offer these incentives, we must collect certain personal information (e.g., name, email address, and phone number) when you sign up to become a Yes Auto member. We share information collected through the Program with the entities for the purposes described in the "Disclosure of Personal Information" section. You may exercise your privacy rights, where applicable, by following the process outlined in the "Privacy Rights and Choices" section.

 

Program Participation and Withdrawal. To participate in the program, Yes Auto is only available to Do-It-Yourself customers of our participating Yes Auto Parts our online store (yesautoparts.com); it is not available to customers with a commercial account. There is no membership fee. No purchase is necessary to apply.

The value of the Program to Yes Auto members is reasonably related to the value provided to the business by the Yes Auto members' data. We estimate the value of customers' personal information by evaluating the costs associated with collecting, storing, and maintaining that information in connection with the Program, as well as the costs related to providing the Program itself. The value of an individual customer's personal information to our business may vary based on factors such as the extent to which you engage with our offerings or choose to opt out. We do not assign a monetary value to customer data in our financial statements. From time to time, we may present additional terms specific to a financial incentive program, which will be provided at the time of enrollment.

DATA PROTECTION

We strive to use reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative measures to protect personal information. However, due to the inherent risks associated with internet use and information systems—including potential unauthorized access by third parties—we cannot guarantee that our systems, websites, or applications will be completely secure.

We retain personal information for as long as needed or permitted in light of the purpose(s) for which it was collected. The criteria used to determine our retention periods include:

SCOPE

"Personal information" in this Privacy Policy means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked—directly or indirectly—to an individual. This does not include aggregated or deidentified information that is maintained in a form that cannot reasonably be used to identify or be linked to a specific individual. Where we maintain deidentified data, we will continue to use and store it in deidentified form and will not attempt to reidentify it, except as required or permitted by law.

 

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected about prospective, current, or former customers of Yes Auto Parts. It does not apply to:

 

Job applicant or employment-related records at Yes Auto Parts.

Your interactions with third-party websites or services that may be linked to or accessible from Yes Auto Parts websites, even if those sites reference Yes Auto Parts. The data practices of those third parties are governed by their own privacy notices. The inclusion of a link on our digital properties does not imply endorsement of the linked site or service by us or by our affiliates.

Our websites and mobile apps may include social media features—such as Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter widgets—that can collect certain information about you, including your IP address and the specific pages you visit on our site. These features may also use cookies or other tracking technologies. They may be hosted by third parties, and your interactions with them are subject to the privacy policies of the respective providers.

Whenever we are acting in the capacity of "Processor" or "Service Provider" to another entity.

UPDATES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

The "LAST UPDATED" legend at the top of this Privacy Policy indicates when this Privacy Policy was last revised. Any changes will become effective when we post the revised Privacy Policy on the Services.
